Join REVERIE at Dickens on September 5th at 8 p.m. for BÖNDBREAKR with support from G.U.S.H., Medusas and Bottom Feeder.

BÖNDBREAKR will be making their Calgary debut this September. The protest punk act is fresh off their performance at the Gathering of the Juggalos and we're thrilled to see what they'll bring to Dickens. 

Calgary’s G.U.S.H. take the grit of ’90s grunge and push it into widescreen, layering low-tuned riffs and catchy anthemic hooks that hit just as hard live as on their debut I Hate Myself. What began as a recording project between longtime friends Roger LeBlanc and David Horrocks has grown into a full band delivering cathartic songs of grief, healing, and release. Expect a set that’s honest and impossible not to feel deep in your bones.

Medusas joined us on our Sled Island showcase this summer and their enthusiasm was infectious. Their set embodied their riot grrrl values and was inclusive, almost to the point of insanity. A highlight of the showcase was when they brought a crowd member on stage to dance with them, which turned into their dancer hopping on top of the bass amp to dance for multiple tracks and being called the newest member of the band by the end of the show. We're excited to see where the band goes next.

New to the Calgary circuit, Bottom Feeder brings a relentless wave of chaotic hardcore that’s already turning heads. Their debut single “Trauma Cycles” sets the pace with raw aggression and urgency, making them a one to watch if you’re looking to discover something new in the moshpit.
