Astrology Girl SHARES “So Long, Partner” Featuring Still There Ahead of New Album

Lethbridge emo outfit Astrology Girl return today with "So Long, Partner," a new single featuring Calgary’s Still There. Produced by Fountane (Devin Taylor), the track arrives as the latest preview of the band's forthcoming album Meets Astrology Boy, due out July 10.
Blending Astrology Girl's emotionally charged songwriting with Still There's signature math rock, emo sound, "So Long, Partner" captures the collaborative spirit that has been growing across Alberta's underground emo community. It’s a natural extension of the relationship between the two bands, with Astrology Girl having become regular fixtures on Calgary bills organized by Still There members Mike Kaspar and Tevin Straub through Bookburner Productions that’s seen them play with the likes of Often Wrong, Vibes, Oranje, Peacebreach, and more. The result is a track that bridges the scenes developing in Lethbridge and Calgary, highlighting a community built through shared stages, friendships, and a mutual love of punk music.
Meets Astrology Boy will arrive this month as Astrology Girl continue to establish themselves as one of Alberta's most exciting voices in modern emo. Catch them at The Owl in Lethbridge with emo heavyweights Leon’s Getting Larger and post-punk up-and-comers Non Ultras, taking place August 13, 2026.
